Happy New Year!
Hopefully the first week of 2024 has been a great one, whether you’re back to work yet or still home relaxing. I (Riley) spent most of the last few days of 2023 and first few days of 2024 with COVID, unfortunately. But it has given me time to relax and disconnect from work, which is always good every once in awhile.
But I’m back to full health and ready to send you the best social media updates you need to know to start the year.

New year, new gig?
According to X, there are over 750,000 jobs currently posted in the app. A lot of people already use X to make professional connections, so I guess using it as a way to hire isn’t super far fetched.
In order to use this feature, businesses have to purchase X’s Verification for Organizations package, which costs $1k per month. It’ll be interesting to see how many people are actually hired through these means vs traditional job posting sites.
