Best Microphones for Social Media Videos

Are you looking to take your social media videos to the next level? One crucial aspect that can make or break your videos is the audio quality. While iPhones are known for their impressive video capabilities, the built-in microphones may not always deliver the professional-grade sound you desire. That’s where external microphones come in. This blog from Harden Digital & Design explores the best iPhone microphones for social media videos, allowing you to capture crystal-clear audio and elevate the overall quality of your content.

MY FIRST X VIDEO MADE OVER $250K!

In a test to see how much ad revenue could be made from uploading a full-length video on X, YouTube star MrBeast is questioning X’s content promotions after earning more than $250k in a week from one video upload. X claims they didn’t artificially boost the video, but also acknowledges that the chances of other creators making a similar amount are slim to none. So what happened, then? Social Media Today breaks it down.

Repurpose Content for Greater Gains

Adobe conducted a survey of more than 500 small businesses about the art of repurposing content and how it’s benefited them. For one, repurposing content saves a lot of time. Chances are, if your audience liked the content the first time, they’ll like it again. Some of the ways SMBs repurposed content was creating clips from longer videos for Reels, TikToks, and YouTube shorts. This lead to an increase in web traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.

Create YouTube Video Podcasts That Perform

Podcasting has become an extremely popular media format, with millions of listeners tuning in to their favorite shows every day.

However, the podcast landscape is becoming increasingly competitive, making it difficult for new shows to break through and attract a large audience. This has led some podcasters to explore creative options for growing their listenership, such as adapting their content into YouTube videos.

Podcaster and online business coach Jay Clouse shares his strategies and insights for transforming podcast episodes into video content optimized for YouTube viewership growth.

AI Song

TikTok is testing a new feature currently called “AI Song” that uses AI to create songs based on prompts that users enter. They say it’s designed to be used for fun, not for trying to create the next viral song. I guess we should’ve seen this coming since AI is already being used for creating photos and videos, and writing papers and blogs, etc.

Brand Protection Tools

Meta is adding some new features to help brands protect their intellectual property. Its new Brand Rights Protection Manager tool helps detect replicas in product listings and the new Intellectual Property Reporting Center will track IP violations. Meta is also adding a new Protecting Business section, which will provide crucial safeguards for brands that are being targeted by questionable sellers and rip-off merchants on FB and IG.
